Q. How can I get Daisy MacLean to make an appearance at my festival/convention/event? Who do I contact, and how interested is Ms MacLean in such engagements?

A. Contact Tim Smith. Tell him you want Daisy to appear somewhere. Have him tell you how much it costs.

Q. When will Daisy be coming to my town/country?
A. Keep an eye on Where's Daisy?.

Travelling is amazing and there are so many places in the world I have yet to see, or want to see again. Meeting new people and trying things out I've never done before are the things that get me out of bed in the morning. There are so many adventures to have...

If foreign distributors, festivals and conventions ask me to go places, mostly I will, if I get enough advance notice, and if I can.

If you want me to come to your country, your best bet is to write to the distributor, and to talk to dvd stores, and the distributors will get in touch with my agent. If you've got a convention or festival you want me to go to, then just get in touch with my agent. Please note that I book myself a year in advance, generally.

Q. How do I get permission to adapt one of Daisy's stories?
A. Chances are, I have the intention of turning my own writing into films, and so the options rights may not be available, however, if you are very keen on the idea please contact my agent, listed above.

Q. How do I get Daisy to review my film for one of her columns?
A. Please use the Ask Daisy page. If you would like to post something for her to review, please arrange it through email first.

Q. How do I hire Daisy to direct my music video/ commercial/ movie/ TV Show?
A. Contact Tim Smith. Tell him you want Daisy to direct something. Have a budget in mind before you talk to him. All projects are considered.
